Day 1 · Morning flight from Dubai, land on Mahé, pool villa by mid-afternoon.
Day 2 · Ste Anne Marine Park by boat, lunch on a beach.
Day 3 · Short flight to Praslin.
Day 4 · Vallée de Mai at opening — coco de mer palms and black parrots. Anse Lazio in the afternoon.
Day 5–6 · Private catamaran around Curieuse and St Pierre, with the giant tortoises.
Day 7 · Ferry to La Digue. Bicycles, and Anse Source d'Argent at low tide.
Day 8–9 · Back to Mahé for the last night, evening flight to Dubai.

Which island, and what it gives you
Mahé is the main island, with the airport, mountains and some of the best large resorts. Use it as the base on a shorter trip.
Praslin and La Digue are the postcard Seychelles: Anse Lazio, Anse Source d'Argent and the Vallée de Mai. They're slower, and best combined.
The private islands — North, Frégate, Desroches and the like — take a handful of villas each. They are reached by helicopter or light aircraft and are the reason UHNW travellers choose the Seychelles at all.
When to go from the UAE
April–May and October–November are the transition months: calm seas, clear water, the best diving and snorkelling.
May to September brings the south-east trade wind, which is cooler and breezier, with some beaches rough. December to March brings the north-west trade, which is warmer and more humid.
Christmas, New Year and Easter are the peaks, and the private islands are often fully booked for them a year out.

How much is a Seychelles package from Dubai?
From around AED 11,500 per person twin-share for seven nights on Mahé with flights and half board. An island-hop starts near AED 19,800 for nine nights, and a private-island stay starts near AED 52,000 for seven nights.
How long is the flight from Dubai to the Seychelles?
About four and a half hours direct to Mahé, and the Seychelles is in the same time zone as the UAE.
Seychelles or Maldives?
The Seychelles has more varied islands, with granite, jungle, giant tortoises and real hiking. The Maldives has more overwater villas and flatter, clearer lagoons. At the very top, the Seychelles private islands are the more exclusive of the two.
Which Seychelles island is best?
Mahé is best for convenience and big resorts. Praslin and La Digue are best for the famous beaches. A private island is best for complete privacy. On a first trip we usually combine Mahé with Praslin and La Digue.
What is the best month for the Seychelles?
April, May, October and November, when the trade winds change over. Seas are calmest and the water is clearest, which is ideal for snorkelling and boat days.
